Alchemy-Spetec Co-Owner and President Stephen C. Barton has been at the forefront of the concrete repair industry for over 30 years. Running leak seal crews in his teens, developing breakthrough polyurethane technology in his twenties, and helping grow the market ever since, Mr. Barton has been a leader in the field for most of his life.
Brian Oeder brings with him over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and growth-oriented companies. Brian has extensive business experience in over 30 countries across 6 continents, due to his leadership positions at two internationally based companies. His diverse background includes management of marketing and sales teams, service, internal support, and training.
Jonathan Waite has been a leader in specialty chemical production for over 25 years. He has led sites and manufacturing networks for multinational companies such as Henkel/Loctite and Akzonobel, producing adhesives, coatings and sealants for the consumer and industrial markets. He is a Georgia Tech alumni with a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Hartford.
Andy Powell’s vast experience encompasses product application, equipment selection, job estimating, field service, project consulting, and customer training for the entire Geotech line. Before joining Alchemy-Spetec, Andy served as a Sales Manager and Field Technician for HP Industries, a supplier / contractor for the concrete pipe and precast manufacturing industry.
Over the years Ken has personally evaluated and prepared repair
plans for well over 1,000 seawalls and waterfront protection barriers
in South Florida. His experience includes seawall evaluation, repair/
preservation methodology, project cost analysis, and field service for
training on the Seawall Repair Network product lines.
Kreg Thornley has been marketing infrastructure repair solutions for over a decade. He has worked in a wide variety of marketing and media disciplines for almost 30 years. Kreg’s multi-faceted background enables him to assist geotech and leak seal contractors with many types of market outreach initiatives. Alchemy-Spetec offers significant marketing support to customers.
Shane White worked as a self-employed remodeling contractor for more than a decade. He has also served as Project Manager for a contracting company. His duties in these positions included personnel supervision, budgeting, project scheduling, and inventory management. Shane is a mechanically oriented, self-driven problem solver.
Ryan brings to the team over a decade’s worth of experience in logistics and warehouse operations. In those 10+ years, Ryan has become well versed in warehouse management, inventory control, quality control, purchasing, and has led crews of up to 40 personnel, to ensure timely and accurate turnaround.
Charlie Lerman has been providing technical support and training for polyurethane grouts for over fifteen years and has been involved with the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) for a decade. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy’s submarine and recruiting services. Charlie is known in the industry by his nickname “The Grout Geek.”
Colt Hullander has spent a decade on the contractor side of the industry as a project manager and installer. Colt brings many years of invaluable field experience with expertise in a wide range of equipment, products, and techniques. His field experience and technical acumen offers Geotech customers an industry-leading support and consulting resource.
Jacob has worked in various forms of construction for the last 8
years. He spent several years working as a technician applying
chemical grouts, servicing and maintaining equipment, training
new hires, and managing rigs/warehouse stock. He has worked across the United States with a wide variety of polymers and soil types.
Erik Prinzing is a driven professional with over 20 years’ experience in the construction sector. Over the years Erik has become well rounded in construction practices, with experiences ranging from working in the field as a contractor to assisting customers as a regional manager in the water, vapor and air barrier industry.
With over 10 years of experience, Joel has a broad understanding of general practices in the construction and services industries. He has spent recent years focused on ground improvement by use of chemical grouting with structural polymers and possesses both technical and marketing expertise.
Steve Taylor’s professional on-site experience includes slab lifting, soil stabilization, void filling, crack injection, curtain grouting, and seawall repair. Before joining Alchemy-Spetec, Steve was General Manager at the geotech contracting firm Ground Consolidation Services. At GCS he supervised crew members and managed customer relations for all of metro Atlanta. He has worked in the construction industry for many years.
As the Inside Sales Manager, David develops and implements all inside sales initiatives within Alchemy-Spetec, as well as providing technical service and solving chemical grouting challenges for customers, contractors, and distributors. He has spent the last 15 years developing organizations by leading them to discover their full potential, develop a wider vision, and determine the best course of action to achieve their goals.
