Stephen C. Barton
President & CEO
Alchemy-Spetec Co-Owner and President Stephen C. Barton has been at the forefront of the concrete repair industry for over 30 years. Running leak seal crews in his teens, developing breakthrough polyurethane technology in his twenties, and helping grow the market ever since Mr. Barton has been a leader in the field for most of his life.
VP Sales & Business Development
Jim Spiegel has 15 years’ experience on the manufacturer side of the industry, representing companies that supply polymer chemical grouting products to the Leak Seal and Geotechnical construction segments. Jim has extensive international support experience having offered on-site technical support on projects spanning 6 continents.
Geotech Division Manager
Andy Powell’s vast experience encompasses product application, equipment selection, job estimating, field service, project consulting, and customer training for the entire Geotech line. Previously, Andy served as a Sales Manager and Field Technician for HP Industries, a supplier / contractor for the concrete pipe and precast manufacturing industry.
Kreg Thornley has been marketing infrastructure repair solutions for over a decade. He has worked in a wide variety of marketing and media disciplines for almost 30 years. Kreg’s multi-faceted background enables him to assist geotech and leak seal contractors with many types of market outreach initiatives. Alchemy-Spetec offers significant marketing support to customers.
Business Intelligence Manager
Michelle O’Keane started her grouting industry career in 2003 as an Office and Plant Manager with the leading grout manufacturer at the time. In 2013 she became the Business Administration Manager at Resiplast US. In 2017 Resiplast US merged with Alchemy Polymers to form Alchemy-Spetec. Michelle has held the position of Business Intelligence Manager since that time.
Director of Technical Services – Leak Seal Division
Charlie Lerman has been providing technical support and training for polyurethane grouts for over fifteen years and has been involved with the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) for a decade. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy’s submarine and recruiting services. Charlie is known in the industry by his nickname “The Grout Geek”.
Director of Technical Services – Geotech Division
Colt Hullander has spent a decade on the contractor side of the industry as a project manager and installer. Colt brings many years of invaluable field experience with expertise in a wide range of equipment, products, and techniques. His field experience and technical acumen offers Geotech customers an industry-leading support and consulting resource.
Southeastern Regional Manager – Leak Seal Division
Justin Arendale has been supporting customers in the construction sector for over 15 years. He has sales experience at companies such as Rothenberger USA, National Construction Rentals, Service Partners, and major manufacturers in the polyurethane industry. Justin is highly qualified to assist contractors with all their material and equipment needs.
Midwest Regional Manager
Erik Prinzing is a driven professional with over 20 years’ experience in the construction sector. Over the years Erik has become well rounded in construction practices, with experience ranging from contracting to supporting customers as a regional sales manager in the water, vapor and air barrier industry.
Western Regional Manager
With over 10 years of experience, Joel has a broad understanding of general practices in the construction and services industries. He has spent recent years focused on ground improvement by use of chemical grouting with structural polymers, and possesses both technical and marketing expertise.
Inside Sales Manager
As the Inside Sales Manager, David develops and implements all inside sales initiatives within Alchemy-Spetec, as well as provide technical service and solve chemical grouting challenges for customers, contractors, and distributors. He has spent the last 15 years developing organizations by leading them to discover their full potential, develop a wider vision, and determine the best course of action to achieve their goals.
Bonnie Porter started working in payroll, accounting, and office management almost 20 years ago. Her extensive bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, order processing, inventory control, and financial reporting activities ensure smooth and consistent administrative operations at the company.
